Debian is a distribution noncommercial control by the social contract Debian. It is characterized by the very great number of supported architectures and by its cycle of relatively long development, pledge of a certain stability. Its quality and its serious are unanimously recognized, but it keeps the image of a distribution reserved to the experts, whereas its ergonomics evolved/moved well. It is the distribution which was retained for the deployment of Linux in the town of Munich (14 000 PC).
